A tragedy of sorts;
a love story of sorts
During the webcast of Shoud 4 on January 4, Adamus gave a brief history of love saying that it was first experienced, by a human woman on Earth, around 5,000 years ago. As more and more women discovered love, the “Council of Holy Brothers” gave them the name of “Mary,” which means “Beloved.” Of course, men eventually experienced love as well, supported by this “Saint Brotherhood” in the other realms.
Allowing this experience of love was initially difficult for the masculine energy, metaphorically known as Adam, because ‘he’ has carried an ancient wound. In The Wound of Adam, we hear the allegorical “love story” of Isis and Adam – how Isis failed and turned away from Adam, and how the masculine energy, in anguished pursuit of his mate, first experienced what we now call love.
As Adamus often notes, both feminine and masculine energies are within each one of us. This is a story about the separation and return to Self, and our discovery of what became the greatest angelic sense of all: Love.
