Shaumbra Realizations from a Bottom-up, Human Perspective
By Tibor Szolcsányi
As a human, the very first thing I know for sure is that I have bodily sensations. I feel when I am taking a breath, and I can even take a conscious breath. I feel my body movements as I move my legs, arms, or hands. I feel when I touch myself. I have visceral sensations and gut feelings. I can feel physical pain and pleasure. I am just simply aware of these bodily sensations.
I also know with certainty that my bodily awareness is embedded in a broader self-awareness. I have experiences, feelings, and thoughts. I know what it is like for me to watch the sunset, to hear the birdsong, to feel the odor of flowers, or just to feel the evening breeze on my skin. Perhaps these experiences are only illusions, a kind of dreams, hallucinations, or simulations. But these are my experiences because I am aware of them. In a similar manner, perhaps my thoughts and beliefs are not true, and perhaps my thoughts are not even mine. Still, I can be sure that my explicit thoughts are really mine in one respect: I am aware of them. It was what René Descartes, the French philosopher realized, and since then it has become the starting point of modern philosophy: “I think, therefore I am.”
But I can go even beyond this because I can recall my past experiences, and I have imagination. I am able to open up an alternative space of experiences and feelings. Of course, my memories may be false, and my imagination may represent nothing about the external reality. Yet, when I am aware of my memories or phantasies, I can be sure that they represent something about my own internal reality.
Finally, as a human, I can create changes and phase transitions in my awareness simply by modulating my attention. I can choose to focus on my breathing, but I can also choose to dive into my external experiences, or into my thoughts instead. I may even identify myself with my body, or with my feelings, or with my thoughts, or with the contents of my imagination. It’s a kind of self-awareness technology available for me, which presupposes a higher-level awareness (or meta-awareness). We may refer to it simply as consciousness. As a human, I can be sure that I have consciousness, and that’s exactly why I can be aware of the various facets of my self-awareness.
Moreover, from a human perspective, the most direct subjective evidence for my own existence is provided by my ability to identify myself with a particular and unique physical body. It is, however, primarily due to the dynamic coherence of those bodily sensations I am aware of. But I am able to create changes in my bodily sensations purely through the modulation of my attention. I can learn, for example, how to calm myself and my gut feelings down by becoming fully aware of my breathing. Or I can learn how to feel into my body, and how to imagine that my muscles are relaxed, and my limbs are warm. Even scientific evidence confirms that these kinds of modulations of my bodily awareness can have a measurable impact on the internal functioning of my body. The effect of self-awareness techniques can be, therefore, as real for me as the existence of my physical body. I can thus realize from a human perspective that I have consciousness, and I exist not only as a physical body, but also as consciousness.
These are the first two Shaumbra realizations from an entirely human and skeptical standpoint. But of course, we can go much further, and we can become transhuman, especially when considering and feeling into those insights and inspirations that Adamus has been sharing with us. For example, Adamus often talks about acts of consciousness and about the Master. Indeed, when I identify myself with a particular and unique physical body, it is more than just a phase transition in my self-awareness: it is a reality-choice, an act of consciousness. As a human, I must identify myself with my body to a degree because it is a necessary component of my human journey. Once I realize this, however, further acts of consciousness will be available for me, and I will also be able to identify myself as consciousness. It is, again, a reality-choice, which opens up brand-new realities to me, including the unique reality of my higher consciousness. Well, that’s exactly when the life-changing intimate dance between the Master and the human begins…

Adamus also often talks about the experience of nothingness and about sovereign existence. No doubt, the paradoxical experience of experiencing nothing is crucial for understanding what it really means to exist. As a human, I can open up the space of cosmic void because I can imagine that I am just floating in the empty space in darkness and silence, far, far away from everything. But I can also allow myself to dive more into the state of emptiness so as to become aware of what it is like to exist without any definition and limitation.
When one really feels into one’s own indefinite existence, however, it may manifest itself as a kind of cosmic contact between the human and its pure – timeless and limitless – consciousness. Adamus’ metaphysics is centered around the realization of pure (timeless) consciousness, and he often emphasizes that energy is communication. Indeed, when experienced, nothingness can be a living and radiating vacuum once the human becomes aware of its timeless consciousness by taking inspirations from its Master-consciousness because it makes available or even manifests a special kind of energy to the human, which is timeless and limitless. Well, manifesting such energy may seem to be somewhat paradoxical as this energy originates from the internal “awareness-dynamics” of pure consciousness, but for me it is the birthplace of New Energy and of New Light on Earth.
Many further examples and personal experiences could be brought here to show how perfectly Adamus’ teachings and inspirations are adjusted to match the most fundamental elements of human knowledge combined with imagination and experiential understanding. Nonetheless, I would like to mention just one thing that I also know for sure after 30 years of internal paradigm shifts and awakenings: the Shaumbra journey is not only the most astonishing journey of humans, but also a completely natural one.

Merci pour ce partage qui est également mon vécu et ce dont je suis consciente. Naturel et vertigineux.
Thank you for your kind feedback! It feels really good to know that you have had similar experiences and insights.Tibor

Thank you Tibor for sharing your perspectives with us. I found i absorbed what you are conveying with great ease … I enjoyed coming along with you through your expressions and imagining into your words. Thank you.
Thank you very much for your feedback! I am really grateful that you were feeling into my words and insights. The Shaumbra journey is a very-very personal journey, but it feels so good to realize that we deeply understand each other. Tibor
Thank you Tibor for sharing your insights and experiences. Philosophy seems so full of individuals struggling with existential questions and wrestling with attempts to define the meaning of life and what is morality, etc., etc.. But you express a peacefulness and the certainty that comes with realizing that with consciousness we go anywhere and never need to get entangled and stuck. We have freedom and everything is meaningful. And you remind us of this.
Dear Jean, thank you very much for your feedback! Yes, philosophy can easily lead to a never-ending mental struggle, but it can also be a very good tool to make the mind free and flexible to integrate personal knowingness. During my journey, I always used philosophy only for this latter purpose, and it was partly the reason why decided to share my experiences and insights in the Shaumbra Magazine. To me, my writing was a kind of summary reminder, and I am really glad to know that it could be a kind of reminder for other Shaumbras, too. Thank you, again. Tibor
Thank you very much, Denise, for your kind feedback! Yes, there was an ingenious and beautiful Merabh about the experience of nothingness. When I was a child, I wanted to be an astronomer because the beauty of the cosmos amazed me, so it was a little bit challenging to imagine later that nothing is out there except my awareness and consciousness. Thank you, again! Tibor
