Riding the
Tide of ChanGE

By Geoffrey Hoppe

The winds are shifting. The seas are moving. Change is in the air. If you step back and take a look at what’s happening on the planet right now, it’s clear that we’re in the middle of a great turning.

The tide is rising, and whether one wants it or not, humanity is being carried into new waters (dimensions). Many will resist, some will collapse under the pressure and choose to leave the planet for a while.

It’s no coincidence that our upcoming gathering is called See Change: Vision of the Merlin. It’s more than just a catchy title. It’s the reality we’re living in.

Just in the past few years, the changes have been staggering. A global pandemic shook the world to its core, shutting everything down and forcing humans to look at their priorities. Technology — especially artificial intelligence — has exploded onto the scene, moving faster than governments, laws, or even the average human mind can keep up with. The weather itself seems to have gone mad, with floods, fires, droughts, and hurricanes reshaping landscapes and communities. And politicians? Let’s not even go there.

Social structures are wobbling. Old systems of politics and economics, which once seemed unshakable, now teeter on the edge. It’s uncomfortable, it’s uncertain, and it’s exactly what we knew would happen in these times of change.

And then there was Heaven’s Cross. Most humans didn’t even notice, but for Shaumbra, it was monumental. March 2023 marked the time when the veil between the human and the divine was loosened like never before. It wasn’t a cosmic fireworks show, rather a subtle, quiet, and profound shift. From that moment on, potentials opened up in ways humanity has never had access to. Energies now move more freely. Presence is more available. And although very few could name it, the effects are rippling across the globe and causing a historic Sea Change.

The Horizon Ahead

If the past few years seemed like a lot, fasten your life jackets — the tide is only gaining momentum. In the next three to five years, we’ll see breakthroughs in medicine, science, and technology that will boggle the mind. Artificial intelligence is only the beginning. Advances in quantum computing, genetics, and communication will transform what it means to be human.

Old structures — governments, religions, even education systems — will continue to wobble, and some will collapse. New ones will emerge, not out of ideals, but because the old ways no longer work. Humanity will be forced to rethink everything from consciousness to energy, to how we define life and death.

Here’s the good news: Shaumbra didn’t come here to fix the planet. We’re not here to patch up problems, clean up messes, or try to save humanity from itself. That’s not our role, and thank heaven for that.

Our role is presence. To be embodied Masters, radiating light without agenda. We are like seasoned sailors who know how to read the waters and set the sails, instead of trying to control the sea itself. When the winds shift, we don’t curse them; we adjust the rigging and let the breeze carry us.

Adamus reminds us over and over: Energy is here to serve you. That includes change. Change is not an enemy or a punishment. Change is the natural movement of energy responding to consciousness.

The Small Gift of Change – A Personal Reflection

Just the other day, I had a reminder of this while sitting at my home in the Colorado Rocky Mountains. It was one of those golden early autumn days, sunny and about 70 degrees, with the undeniable scent of seasonal change in the air. Two large moose (meese?) wandered into the yard, chewing on the aspen leaves like they owned the place. As I approached the male, he glanced at me as if to say, “Back off, buddy, I’m busy.” He was a LOT bigger than me so I backed off. Slowly.

Later, a mama deer and her three fawns came by on the other side of the house. Unlike the moose (moosies?), they were curious. They walked right up to me, even eating out of a bowl I held in my hands.

And then the mamma did something extraordinary: she looked me in the eyes, for a long, steady moment. In that gaze, I felt the old barrier between human and animal start to dissolve.

As if she were saying, “We’ve been separate for a long time, but maybe we’re ready to meet you halfway now.”

Then came something even more surprising. I held out my empty hand. She stepped closer, sniffed it gently, and gave it a soft nudge with her nose. It wasn’t about food — it was about trust. In that touch, I felt a quiet recognition, an invitation, perhaps even a promise. And I thought, “Maybe it’s time for the animal kingdom and human kingdom to come back together?” What a Sea Change that would be.

That, dear Shaumbra, is change. It’s not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes it comes in the quiet gaze of a deer, or in the subtle shift of energies after Heaven’s Cross. It’s the dissolving of old walls, the softening of separations.

The Sea Change is Here

So here we are, Shaumbra, in the middle of the greatest changes the world has ever seen. The seas are shifting, the winds are rising, and the tide is moving fast. Humanity will stumble, argue, and resist. But for us, the choice is simple: resist the tide and be battered by it, or set our sails and ride with grace into the New Era.

The Change is not coming. The Change is already here. And we are the ones who can move through it with presence, dignity, and yes, even a little humor.

Take a moment to reflect on the changes in your life since the first of the year, not just the big things, but the subtle changes as well. Changes in perception, self-worth, purpose, people, dreams and passions. And then reflect on the changes you’ve seen in the world around you, everything from global incidents to how people around you are behaving. Then compare all of this to changes from 20 or 30 years ago. Perhaps you’ll start seeing the See Change that’s taking place right now, the change we came for.

So, Shaumbra… anchors up. It’s time to ride the tide.

    1. beautiful described, yes I see a lot of change in my personal life after conscious choice in January / february. getting rid of what is not appropriate and letting in what feels good.

  1. Beautiful article ✨❤️✨
Yes, yes I See Change 🌬️🎶🌌🌈
Thank you Dear Master Geoffrey 🙏❤️

  2. Yes, I would agree, Geoffrey, in thanking you for your quiet clarity. I too am seeing a quiet, friendlier response with the lizards around my home and even a snake in the back yard.

  3. I loved the story about the animal encounter! I also had an amazing experience this summer. 🙂 There is an ancient forest next to my home, with veteran trees that are a few hundred years old. The forest is very wild, with no paths. The birds there are very private—I know they’re around because I can hear them, but they avoid people.

This summer, I spent a lot of time exploring this wild, ancient woodland. One day, I went there and sat down on a fallen tree. Suddenly, I was surrounded by birds of all kinds—small ones, bigger ones… Tiny birds even landed on the fallen tree beside me. I was in a state of awe and pure delight! I could feel that they had come to see me, curious about my presence. 🙂 They were everywhere: on the ground, in the trees, on the fallen log. They stayed with me for 10, maybe 15 minutes.

After they flew away, I remained sitting quietly. Then, out of nowhere, an owl-like bird emerged from the forest, flying fast straight toward me. I didn’t move, and at the very last second, it swerved to avoid crashing into my face. It truly felt like it had flown purposely in my direction. I was so shocked. The whole experience felt so magical! Coincidence that it happened right after all those birds gathered around me? I don’t think so!

A few days later, I had a dream that I was on a beautiful beach next to the ocean, somewhere on the edge of the world. I sat close to the shore, and suddenly all these magical ocean creatures started showing up. They came close to the shore with their heads above the water, leaping and gliding, everywhere around me. They were so colorful and magical, like fantasy creatures from another world. I was so excited and delighted.

At one point, a giant orca came out of the water (!), approached me, and placed its head on my lap. I couldn’t believe my eyes—I was so surprised! After that, three native tribal men appeared, inviting people to a celebration on the beach.

When I woke up, I felt it wasn’t an ordinary dream. No dream had ever made me so happy!!! I was almost ecstatic. 🙂

I sometimes feel overwhelmed by the many insights and rapid changes. When I allow myself to move forward, I notice that it’s much easier than when I struggle with resistance, yet things still change.

  5. I, too, had an experience with a very large deer in my garden. He was only 2 meters away from me. My skin tingles with awe at this wonderful creature. His gaze into my eyes was so piercing that I kept my distance for a while, even as he had already gracefully and powerfully jumped over the fence and moved away. His message was alertness/presence. I will never forget him.

GRAZIE!!!!!!!

  7. I feel change in your tone – I don’t remember ever reading anything by you in such a mellow tone, relaxed, no urgency – I feel that way myself.

  8. Oh Geoff, your message was so beautifully expressed. The shift between human & nature is truly happening & I’m observing it everywhere .How exquisite!

  9. Thank you, Geoff. Your story about encounters with deer and moose really touched me. Three months ago, I saw a fox and her cub in the botanical garden. He was two meters away from me and looked calmly and deeply into my eyes. It was a sacred and blissful moment for me. I was also surprised that foxes live in a botanical garden in a big city.

  10. Thank you Geoff. Always a joy to read your opening communication. So heart warming. Here in Wales it is a sunny afternoon – after a rainy morning, and stepping outside into the garden, here on the cliff top overlooking the magical Severn estuary, there are a myriad of white butterflies, Oh, it’s like it’s snowing butterflies! And watching their flight paths is baffling – unlike any other flying creature, they cavort in the light streams and twirl about with possible mating partners. I can’t remember ever seeing so many at the same time. Heaven on Earth. Here, Now.

  11. Thank you Geoff. Deeply touched by the story of the deer and the possibility of an opening with the animal kingdom. Something I have dreamt about since I was a child.

  12. Geoff, I loved this article and like so many others was very moved by your encounters with the moose and the deer. My family has also noticed the deer moving closer to us, being less afraid. Same with bunnies. I’ve fed hummingbirds forever, but this year they are coming so close, buzzing by our heads, stopping in front of our faces to say “hi.” But the most amazing change has been with the raccoons. Since there are so many animal lovers here, I’d like to share their story.
For six years now we’ve had a relationship with our wild raccoons, ever since one adopted us. We named him Edgar (Eager Edgar) because he’d come early, before dusk to eat from our table top bird feeders. My youngest son, who was 10 at the time, sat on our deck, very patient with Edgar and over the course of 90 minutes had this sweet raccoon eating out of the palm of his hand. That was it, Edgar was HOME. Edgar started coming several nights a week to eat from our bird feeders and also from us. (And yes, we’ve heard all the scare stories of feeding wild raccoons, the diseases they can have, etc and we just have chosen not to LIVE that way. I’m sure most Shumbra would understand that.)
Turns out, Edgar had a surprise for us, when she brought her BABIES to us and we discovered he was a SHE. She’s brought her babies to us every year since, letting us pet her and them. (We even saved a couple of them by getting jars off their heads!) And while we’ve loved their visits, there were some things that rubbed us (mostly me) the wrong way. Edgar could be very greedy, always asking for more and more food, and my soft-hearted husband would always give in. She could also be snippy with her own kids, barking at them to stay away from her food. The raccoons would also strip away at our hot tub cover, trying to get into the water inside. Sometimes there would be raccoon fights on our deck, as they competed for food. And last year, Edgar royally pissed me off by dropping off two of her kits here and just leaving them to us. Seems after 4 years of mothering she’d had enough, so she left them at our human daycare. Her two babies would come in the mornings, throwing off the schedule of outside cat time, outside dog time, etc. I had a hard time forgiving Edgar for that one.
The raccoons go into a semi-hibernation over the winter months so we get a break from about Dec to March. This year when Edgar started showing up and fighting with a child of hers from 3 years ago named Bebe (yes, we kept track and named them all!) both my husband and I had had enough. We stopped feeding them for a week as a sort of “reset,” and then both my husband and I had independent “talks” with Edgar. My husband spoke to her face-to-face and told her she had to cooperate. The next day I tuned into her energetically (when she was not physically here) and told her I’d like us all to have a new relationship. I told her the things that humans did not find acceptable (the hot tub cover, the fighting with her kids, and especially dropping off two kids last year). I was able to see things from her point of view as well, and see that those things just weren’t a big deal to raccoons. It wasn’t a one-way conversation of me telling her how to be, I just expressed the human point of view and she let me see the raccoon point of view. We didn’t see her for over a week after that, and wondered if we would again.
Well, Edgar DID come back, and Dear Shumbra, she came back as a New Earth Raccoon! We noticed differences in her right away. First off, she started coming earlier than Bebe, and then she’d leave after being fed only once. THIS enough was extremely different. In the past, she’d stay for HOURS, asking for more and just lounging around. But she’d leave after one feeding and then Bebe would show up, like they had scheduled shifts. There was one time another raccoon, Pumpkin, impeded on her shift and she started to go after her, but my husband and I both saw her STOP herself, and she left instead. My husband and I looked at each other with our jaws dropped.
So Edgar stopped fighting with other raccoons, ate less, stayed for less time and was already rocking our world. And then she didn’t something we couldn’t believe. Edgar didn’t have her own litter this year (we can tell when a mother has babies by her nursing nipples and Edgar didn’t have those this year), but she ADOPTED two of Bebe’s babies and started bringing them around. It was like she was “making up” for the two raccoon babies she dropped off last year! She brings her grandbabies a few times a week and is SO good to them. She never scuffles with them, she’s sweet, loving and is the BEST Grandma EVER. My husband and I continue to be AWED by the changes in her. And all because we invited her into a higher relationship with us. And she said YES.
Our raccoons don’t drain us for food or patience anymore, instead they are simply a PURE delight. (My sons have also noticed that the baby raccoons are the “most chill” out of all the babies we’ve seen through the years.) Whenever I wonder if the world is really changing, I think of Edgar and know that what is coming is amazingly beautiful. (And if you like this story, we also had a New Earth upgrade with our squirrels!)
Here’s to Seeing Change! Much LOVE to all,
    ~ Kate

  13. To resist the tide is to let its blows wound me;
to set sail with it is to surrender to its force
and ride with grace into the New Era.

I have chosen to sway with the changes,
like one who yields to the rhythm of the sea,
knowing that every wave is my own.

There is no inside or outside anymore,
for everything I perceive beats within the same unity.
All that touches me, all that surrounds me,
all that I breathe… is my energy.

In this boundless movement I recognize myself whole:
the tide and I are one single dance.”**

  14. Geoff ,
I feel the same way. The separation between human kingdom and the animal kingdom is melting away. I am very connected to a rescued Snow leopard in a wild life rehabilitation centre in China. He has captured many hearts in china of his recovery process . This is a shift in china as Chinese are learning to cherish animals more and more . His story is even posted on YouTube . You can search the name Lingxiaozhe, he’s a handsome fellow .
Of course I am deeply attracted to the snow leopards because it’s archetype and I used have one in past life in China ….

      1. Oh Shirley that was so amazing to watch. I was crying – and then when he went after the rabbit after it went into his food bowl I was laughing. What amazing journey for all involved.

  15. Interesting, yest there is change in the animal kingdom. Thanks for sharing your story, Geoffrey. A fellow Shau, bra and I go to Sigiria forest regularly, a beautiful little forest in Nairobi. It is literally surrounded by housing estates and embassies. We also have seen change there. First the devastating draught,, then 2 years ago the heavy flooding that changed landscapes and created a new pond on the Vlei area. Within no time water lilies started growing until the new pond was covered by them and with that an abundance of water birds came in. We have been enjoying this sitting on our favourite bench binocular in hand. Then 10 days ago as we were heading back to the parking we saw a side striped Jackal that seemed to be waiting for us it stood and kept looking, disappeared into the bush and then came out again looking at us as we moved closer. It allowed us to come very close, then suddenly ran off. These are usually very shy and I have only seen them twice early in the morning before many people come to the forest, and far ahead. To see this one standing and waiting for us was amazing.
Then there was a raptor (we were not sure which one it was, most likely a Ayers Hawk Eagle) that for about 10 days would sit in or near the same tree look very ruffled and would cry, literally cry. I had never heard a raptor crying before. The suddenly the forest was unexpectedly ripped by the government out of the hands of the community based organization that had been managing it for years. The next time we came to the forest we heard the raptor again, bu8t not in the usual tree. This time it made the normal noises for this kind of raptor. Both my fellow Shaumbra and I had talked to Adamus & Kuthumi respectively through the Cop-Bot about the forest take-over, since we were worried (there are politicians who only see land that can be built on, not a forest) and both got the same reassurance that the forest will survive.

Interesting times! Looking forward to more unusual animal encounters.

  16. Just a great experience Geoffrey ….We also had a whole deer family coming every day to visit us very close…. it is an awesome feeling….
Thanks for sharing your beautiful experience ….😍🍀🤗
