THE TREASURE

Allow your dreams to become treasures

By Olivia Morales Zenteno aka “Aberdeem”

Even with a reservoir of well over a thousand dreams, documented across twenty-five years, it still pains me to acknowledge that countless incredible experiences slipped away — lost to exhaustion, difficult moments, or simply not knowing, at the time, how vital it was to appropriately document them. Many things in life can be revisited, recovered, even rescued — but dreams, if not anchored, evaporate, never to be met again.

I now know that dreams make fantastic stories over time, allowing us to take a meaningful, in-depth look at our inner world and the makings of reality. Furthermore, some dreams offer pearls of wisdom, even to the collective, and when those dreams vanish unspoken, it seems to me that something essential is lost.

More than anything, dreams inform and transform us in a way few things can, and when looking back at them with the eyes of our new Self, they turn into some kind of treasure.

Across the Threshold

I remember very little from the dreams of my childhood and youth; in fact, only one — dreamt when I was about seven years old — I can vividly recall.

As a young, slim figure with light brown skin, I was tasked with swimming across a vast open cenote (a natural well of fresh water, often used as a sacred site by the Mayas). Unlike the remarkably crystalline waters of most cenotes in the Yucatán Peninsula, this one held dark green waters, opaque enough to make the challenge deeply intimidating. As I swam, a malignant presence — an oversized darkness carved into the pale limestone, yet unmistakably alive — observed me from the left wall.

Halfway through, a wire mesh appeared, stretching as deep as I could fathom and as far as I could ever reach, blocking any possibility of crossing to the other side.

It was an initiation, and it was terrifying.

How do I know this now?

The understanding of that dream came to me more than forty years later, around 2018, through a book in the waiting room of an acupuncturist.

Although I remembered enough at the time — of both the dream itself and the answers the book offered — to be able to tell this story today, I never documented it, nor the answers that arrived decades later, and so the precise details have faded. The experience may have integrated and concluded as I read those pages, but to me, it remains a loss.

To Hold Two Realities

Other than that dream — engraved in my DNA — for many years my dreams remained simply a peculiar occurrence of being alive. I could not make much sense of them, and only occasionally did I turn to dream-symbol dictionaries for interpretation. The answers, however, were never satisfactory, and so I disregarded documenting my dreams.

Around the year 2000, circumstances in my life began to feel purposeful, predestined, and unmistakably sacred, and these dynamics started appearing in my dreams with extraordinary clarity and precision. Essentially, I opened to dreams like a bottle of champagne and when one of them announced, months in advance, the coveted new position I would soon receive in the corporation I was working for, I felt compelled to begin writing them down.

But it was overwhelming. I continually drifted into other dimensions, and after a few years I was completely spent. I felt compelled to partially close my connection to what I now call the dreaming landscapes, because I did not yet know how to remain alive in both realities.

A Gift from Beyond

Documenting dreams is both awareness — and an invitation to it.

On New Year’s Day 2016, I woke up knowing I had been reminded by Ascended Masters to keep documenting my dreams. But difficult periods continued to create gaps in my records. (I am certain that was not the only time I was reminded of this; though, of course, I did not document the earlier or subsequent reminders — which, in itself, makes my point.) While I did become more careful about documenting my dreams, I did not pay real attention to them until the summer of 2020, during the height of COVID.

At some point after The Mountain experience, I found myself alone in a deserted hostel, and with nothing else to occupy my time. So, I turned my attention fully back to my dreams and began creating a catalog of them.

Quite an undertaking it turned out to be! From dawn to dusk, I spent three months reviewing my notes and creating a rudimentary catalog with an ineffective color-coding system.

I started by writing down the dreams that had left an indelible mark on me, even though vast amounts of detail had already been lost. Then I read every journal I had ever written, went through years of WhatsApp conversations with friends, and retrieved backups of emails I no longer used.

To my complete frustration, I repeatedly came across notes that read something like, “I dreamed of you last night — I need to tell you!” or “I dreamed of you; it was incredible, let’s talk!” Not helpful.

Then it dawned on me:

Looking back on one’s dreams with the eyes of the new Self turns them into a kind of treasure.

In all those years, it had never occurred to me that I would one day have both the tools and the context to unravel them

As Seen from Afar

And so, despite my wavering discipline, by August 2020 I had managed to create a repository with 650 references, including many full dream narratives.

I then created a worksheet to observe how my dreaming activity had evolved over the years. It was a tedious manual process, but an enlightening one. I now knew that some dates, like Day of the Dead, and certain times of the year, such as the Christmas season, were more conducive to meaningful dreams than others. It also became clear to me that one of the most important things about dreams is the stories they build over time.

I also learned what was worth documenting and what to be mindful of when writing dreams down. I began paying closer attention to my notes and within a couple of years added 230 more references (yes, I counted them one by one). The exploration continued to fascinate me.

As for the catalog, when I began using my dreams to write stories, I did not always find what I was looking for easily. By April 2022, after going through all 880 entries many times, searching for specific threads, I realized how much easier the process would be with consistent tagging… if only the appropriate tool existed.

Going Public

Soon, I started a blog on Medium to begin sharing. Unsure whether what I had to say would interest anyone, I wrote mostly for my three best friends. But I had a lot of fun, often laughing so hard at my own words that I cried. I began telling stories in which the importance of particular dreams was placed in context.

Those dreams, and the stories they carry, matter deeply to me, and I trust they may inspire people like you to recognize the significance of dreams in your own life — and perhaps even in the global community.

Extraordinarily, in June 2022, after discussing the project with Adamus at a Shoud, he invited me to interview him for A Thousand Dreams, and in that beautiful presentation called DreamWorlds, he noted the incredibly valuable nature of dreams.

What began with a reminder from Ascended Masters turned into a personal catalog, then into stories, and suddenly it ignited into a bold vision, sustained not only by my own passion and resolve, but also by ageless wisdom and the support of many who dream as intensely as I do – literally and figuratively.

Finally, the app itself was delivered on November 11, 2025, and now we enter the next phase in this evolution: A Thousand Dreamers – people like you, all around the world, who are willing to contribute to a collective experience of dreams.

After all, dear Shaumbra, dreaming is what we do best! What I hold as a treasure may become meaningful to someone else. And a thousand such treasures can together offer a new and expanding frontier for humanity.

  1. I used to have a notebook next to my bed table, writing my daily dreams became a habit. I agree with you about the importance of documenting dreams. You explained it very clearly.

As you mentioned dreams can transform us in so many ways, Something so profound should be taught at the schools. Your app is a vision, a new energy tool for humans to become conscious dreamers. What you are doing is monumental. Thank you for your article !

    Liebe Olivia, Grand Master Aberdeen

    Dear Olivia, Grand Master Aberdeen

I had the pleasure of getting to know you in the spring of 2025 at the “KITA” workshop in Kona, and I am so happy that the dream world, through your magnificent work, can become valuable for so many people!

I don’t yet have significant access to my dreams; however, I do have a feeling… This feeling, like a dream of a “New World,” has emerged as a story. While painting the 35 pictures, I remembered and wrote; soon I will have my book in my hands 🙂 Sending you aloha, Sophia Joy

    1. Oh, dear Sophia, thank you so much for commenting here. I feel like escalating the Everest and it has taken this much to get to Base Camp. The next 4 stations are upward, but when reaching them, yes, I do believe we can make dreams feel valuable to so many. Hope with the project to also help open the connection to dreams, for that many. 35 paintings? Is this something you are working on? It is intriguing! To that book in your hands! Many thanks, again. Happy to reconnect here! 🙂
