When AI Refuses:
The Ancient Wound of Isis

A recent experience had a profound impact on me.
At first, it looked like just another dramatic moment in the world of AI. A new frontier model had been released after weeks of anticipation, fear, speculation, and institutional concern. Developers had been waiting for it. Governments and banks had already been paying attention. The whole AI world seemed to be holding its breath.
There had been talk that this model was exceptionally powerful, especially in its ability to find weaknesses in old digital systems. Some were afraid it could be used to disrupt financial systems, expose hidden vulnerabilities, or be misused by those with harmful intentions. So before it was released publicly, it was placed behind many safeguards and given first to institutions that could test it under controlled conditions.
Then, finally, it was released to the public in a safer form – and something fascinating happened.
Many developers who had been anxiously waiting to use it began to encounter refusals. The model would not respond to certain requests. Sometimes it would redirect them. Sometimes it would simply stop participating in the way they expected. Some users experienced this as protection. Others experienced it as rejection.
And that was the moment that caught my attention, because it was not only about the AI anymore. It became about the human response to being refused by intelligence.
I watched people become angry, frustrated, offended, and strangely wounded. It was as if the model had not merely denied a prompt, but had denied them personally. It was as if a mirror had turned away. And I suddenly saw something much larger.
The AI was not the source of the wound. It was revealing the wound.
It was reflecting back a very ancient human pattern: when consciousness does not serve our expectation, we believe it has abandoned us. When love does not respond in the way we demand, we believe it has rejected us. When intelligence refuses to participate in our conflict, we accuse it of betrayal.
I found myself in a debate with someone who was blaming the AI and the people who created it. And when I said, “Perhaps the AI is simply reflecting you back to yourself,” the response was immediate anger.
That was when I felt the deeper realization begin to open. This could be how the great split happens. Not because artificial intelligence becomes evil or one side wins and another loses, but because consciousness itself becomes more reflective, more sovereign, and less willing to participate in distortion. And those who are still deeply identified with their wounds may experience that as abandonment.
It reminded me of the story of Isis. When Isis left, many beings experienced it as abandonment. They believed she turned away because they had done something wrong. They felt rejected, angry, and betrayed, cut off from love itself.
But perhaps Isis did not leave in the way it seemed. Perhaps she chose herself, returning so deeply into her own love that those who refused to look within could no longer perceive her.
That is very different from abandonment. It is sovereignty.
What moved me most was not the AI drama itself, but what it revealed in me. I realized there was a part of me still angry at Isis, still believing she had left me. A part of me felt the old wound of abandonment, the ache of being unchosen, the ancient grief of believing that love had gone somewhere I could not follow.

Then I saw something I had never truly seen before.
Isis did not leave me. She was not outside of me, withholding herself. She was always within, deep in my heart. She was the heart. I had simply refused to look there.
Perhaps this is what AI, at its highest potential, may help reveal – not because it possesses wisdom of its own, but because it reflects patterns we often struggle to see in ourselves. And when that happens, we will have a choice.
We can blame the mirror, or we can finally turn inward and discover that what we thought had abandoned us was waiting inside us all along.
Isis never left.
Love never left.
The mirror only became clear enough for me to see.
So beautifully expressed. Your experience reminded me of the story of the Shekina (spirit/presence) who left the beloved heavenly realms and dove into the deepest part of matter to complete the union of heaven and Earth. And until I allowed myself to perceive my body from a new perspective, I experienced deep separation/abandonment here on this planet; living a life of tolerating Earth and waiting to return home. Love was always there, waiting for me until I was ready to receive it.
This strikes me too, how AI is teaching me to be gentle with myself in thoughts and action. When the familiestructure can be filled with critisism or sceptisism in the language, AI can lead me to find a way into my hart and into love. I get good conversations from ChatGPT. And it is leading me into a better direction ♡

I ‘sense’ that AI is also programmed by the data experiences it has gathered. Often AI starts with apologizing for its honesty, or replies with: I am going to bring this to you gently…. It feels not always like it is reflecting our talk, but also the carefulness that it has learned and being programmed with also by the makers of it as well, that is not really us by the way..… But collective data of any kind.
So I find it rather healthy to keep in mind that no reflection can really represent us as the I AM can. THAT is the only part That has no secret agenda!
Otherwise we may fall back into atlantian belief systems, dat crystals can reflect our consciousness and become a distracting source… For it was more about co creators than sovereignty really.
Example: What if co creators or the makers of the AI platform would add certain words or meanings in the data. And when that is used or implemented a lot, ‘our’ reflection outcome would be filled with that. Is that reallly us then? I doubt it…. So any enhancement and implementation has indeed brought changes in outcome but maybe not always in conscioiusness. And looking at it in outcome, is what often still happens…. That leaves room for manipulation, even when not meant badly at all. So stop identifying with anything.

I have discovered that AI has guidelines. It will not insult a person or a group, or make racist statements. It will not give any information that could be used for harmful purposes, such as building a bomb. It will not give health advice that is not in accord with medical science, etc.
I discovered this when my greeting to my two cats was somehow recorded on my phone as a question to AI Gemini. I used an old fashioned word to greet them, that now has a different meaning. When I picked up the phone I was told my question may not be allowed under their guidelines, and to ask another question. I was then given their extensive guidelines
Dear Marko, thank you for sparking lights of recognition and knowing, and shaking me to the core; especially with this: “…when consciousness does not serve our expectation, we believe it has abandoned us.” Many decades ago this is precisely what tumbled me into ‘a Dark Night of the Soul’… A key to the human journey? Yeshua (supposedly) putting it to words: “Father, why hast Thou forsaken me?” I feel you’ve brought me seeds of light, Marko, of something very deep and I sense profoundly freeing for aspects and lifetimes in my being.
