I Am Beauty

Beauty is easy to understand. A sunset, our favorite music, a face we love, a magnificent landscape – we know beauty when we see it. Or do we?

In I Am Beauty, Adamus takes beauty far beyond what pleases the eyes or delights the human senses. He describes Beauty as one of the most exquisite of the angelic senses – a way of perceiving and experiencing reality that the mind cannot manufacture or even fully understand. It doesn’t depend on something being attractive, pleasant, harmonious, or even “good.” In fact, beauty can be found in traffic, chaos, darkness, frustration, a sour apple, even the smelly trash cans in the alley. It is there because energy itself is yours, and the sense of Beauty allows you to experience it without the filters of judgment and limitation.

Perhaps that is why beauty can feel so elusive in ordinary human life. Logic tries to define it, mass consciousness tells us what qualifies as beautiful, and our own judgments – especially about our bodies and ourselves – narrow the spectrum even further. Yet Adamus says Beauty has never actually gone away. It is a natural sense that can simply be allowed back into awareness.

And when it is, something begins to change. You don’t have to search for beauty or convince yourself that something is beautiful. You simply begin to perceive more of what has always been there. The ordinary becomes sensual. The difficult takes on another dimension. Even your relationship with your body begins to shift as Beauty moves from something you judge outside yourself to something you naturally radiate.
