Trouble Accessing
Crimson Circle?
Easy Fixes to Try First!

We get it—tech issues can be frustrating!
You’re excited to watch a Cloud Class or download your latest purchase, but instead… the page won’t load, the video won’t play, the login button does nothing, or even worse, the MFA code goes AWOL.
Before you throw your laptop out the window, take a deep breath. Many website issues can be fixed in just a few simple steps—no tech skills required! Here’s your quick and friendly guide to solving common access problems.
Step 1: Try a Different Browser
One of the easiest ways to fix problems—such as videos not playing, downloads not starting, or pages not loading properly—is to try using a different browser (such as Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge).
Why does this work?
Each browser works slightly differently. Sometimes, stored data, outdated settings, or certain browser features can cause issues. Switching browsers is like trying a different key when one isn’t working—it helps identify whether the problem is with the website or your settings.
How to test it:
✔ Open the website in a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari).
✔ If it works there, your original browser is likely the issue!
Bonus tip: Always keep your browser updated to avoid glitches!
Step 2: Disable Browser Extensions & Plugins
Did you know that those helpful little add-ons (like ad blockers, pop-up blockers, and security plugins) can accidentally block parts of a website? If buttons won’t click, menus won’t open, or videos won’t play, an extension could be the troublemaker.
How to Check If an Extension Is Causing Issues
If a website isn’t working as expected, try these quick steps:
- Open the website in “Incognito” or “Private” mode (right-click on a link and select that option from the menu).
- Most extensions are turned off in this mode. If the site works here, an extension is likely causing the issue.
- Temporarily turn off extensions.
- Try a different browser: If the site works fine elsewhere, an extension in your original browser is likely the problem.
- Allow Crimson Circle in your ad blocker: If you use an ad blocker, go to its settings and add crimsoncircle.com to the “Allowlist” or “Trusted Sites.”
Common troublemakers: Ad blockers, VPNs, script blockers, and security plugins.
Step 3: Avoid Opening Links Directly in Email Apps when using your mobile device.
Have you ever clicked a link in an email, only for the page to look… weird? Maybe it won’t load, won’t let you log in, or things just don’t work right. That’s because many email apps (like Outlook, Gmail, or Apple Mail) open links inside their own mini-browser, which doesn’t always function properly.
How to fix it:
✔ Instead of clicking the link inside your email app, copy it and paste it into your regular browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.).
That little step can make all the difference!

Step 4: Clear Your Cache & Cookies
Imagine your browser as a cluttered desk. Over time, it stores old website data (cache & cookies) to help it load faster, but sometimes this outdated info causes errors. If pages aren’t updating, login isn’t working, or things feel “stuck,” clearing your cache can give your browser a fresh start.
Please visit our service center to learn more about how to clear your browser’s cache,
Pro tip: This may log you out of websites, so keep your passwords handy!
Step 5: Check Your Internet Connection
This may seem obvious, but a slow or weak connection can make websites load incorrectly or not at all. Before assuming the website is broken, do a quick internet check:
✔ Try another website (ideally one with videos). If others aren’t loading either, your internet might be the issue.
✔ Check your internet speed: You can search for “Speed Test” on any browser and use any free service to see if the speed is enough to load the page (or video).
✔ Restart your router. Unplug it, wait 30 seconds, then plug it back in.
✔ Switch to Wi-Fi (or mobile data). If you’re on a weak network, changing your connection might help.
Step 6: Restart Your Device
When in doubt… turn it off and on again!
✔ Restarting your computer, tablet, or phone clears temporary bugs that could be causing problems.
✔ It takes less than a minute and often fixes things instantly!
✔ To really clear things out, shut it off completely (rather than clicking “Restart”), then turn it back on manually.
Step 7: Update Everything!
Outdated browsers, devices, and software don’t play well with modern websites. If nothing else has worked, check for updates:
✔ Update your browser (Chrome, Safari, Edge, etc.).
✔ Update your device software (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android).
✔ Restart after updating to apply the changes.
We know that navigating online systems can sometimes feel a little overwhelming, but most technical issues can be solved with quick fixes like switching browsers, adjusting settings, or checking for extensions that might be interfering.
