It still surprises me that no matter how clearly I “know” something, it must be lived out and actually experienced in order to be real. Take worthiness, for instance. I “know” I’m worthy of all good things. I “know” the mere fact of my existence on the planet means I deserve abundance, pleasure, joy, ease and grace.

I want to share a story – two stories, really – made partly of a dream and partly of “real life.” The first story is about harmony, particularly harmony with self, and how it can deeply affect the human experience.

This is at least my 5th attempt at writing Shaumbra Heartbeat for September 2020. The first few tries got bogged down in didactic lectures or lost in wandering metaphors, so I give up. I’m just going to tell the story.

What I want to share this month feels so broad and far-reaching that distilling it into a reasonable amount of words has felt rather daunting. On the other hand, it’s very simple, and nothing we haven’t already heard. But, in this slowed-down reality, it takes a while for a human’s experience to catch up with the concept, which means my visceral understanding of this topic is very fresh.

For a long time, my mind had quite a problem with everything being “Now.” As a human, I experience reality in the past, present and future. I remember things from my childhood, yesterday’s adventure is pretty fresh in my mind, and I definitely have plans for tomorrow.

In a conversation the other day, a friend was telling me how she’s really beginning to sense all the parts and pieces of so many things coming together. No matter what the human-level challenges might be, the wisdom is also right here, so close and accessible, even if a little hard to define. As I listened, her words triggered a whole picture-story in my mind.

Probably like many of us, I’ve been thinking a lot about Realization lately, my mind eternally ruminating on what it is, what it means, how it happens, what triggers it, if I’m stopping it, and so on.

Home. Family. Tribe. These words ring very deep in our psyche. In the list of basic human needs, the most important after physical survival is a sense of belonging, love, relationship and community.

I have always been fascinated by sound and its contribution to creation. As a matter of fact, sound – the Word – in all its forms IS creation.

Adamus recently talked again about the beautiful metaphor of the caterpillar becoming a butterfly. No matter how commonplace this event is in the lepidopteral kingdom or how many times we tell the story, it always means a great deal to me. What an amazing example we embedded right into this reality, an exquisite reminder of so many things.

As I write this, it’s a few short days before 2020 – a year of balance, new beginnings and Realization, according to Adamus – and I can feel it brewing. The air is permeated with a sense of stillness and anticipation. There’s a turning within, a gentle reunion that soothes every molecule of my being, and a deep gratitude to Self for being in this moment.

I woke up the other day to 3’ (1m) of snow on the ground. It had been quite a winter storm and many places in Colorado shut down for the day while we dug ourselves out. The snow continued to fall throughout the day, but the next morning brought brilliant sun and clear blue skies.

In the August Shoud, Adamus came up with “Practical Magic for the Modern Merlin,” his new little Shoud segment to help us start making this magic stuff real. For Lesson One of PMMM, he suggested that we come up with a trigger – a unique word or gesture – to consciously remind ourselves to “open to our own energy.” What a fun opportunity!

There are so many ways to speak those two words. Possessively – “He’s my love, you leave him alone!” Affectionately – “My love for you knows no bounds.” Longingly – “My love is far away.” Remorsefully – “My love for you is gone.” But lately, they have been floating through me with the essence of fulfillment – “Oh, my love…” More and more, in every sort of moment,

Magic. I never dared let myself believe in it, even though I always wanted to. But something’s changing.I had an interesting childhood – isolated from worldly influences but surrounded by nature; devoid of school and friends but immersed in books and solitude.

I recently spent a few months digging through more than 100 Shouds to make a video recap of Adamus’ messages (as part of the Santa Fe event). As impossible as it is to cram 10 years of information into an hour, it was nevertheless an amazing trip down Enlightenment Lane.

The most recent Big Amazing Thing in Shaumbra-land was the “10 Years with Adamus” event in Santa Fe, New Mexico. In anticipation, it felt like a pretty big deal. In person, it felt epic. In the aftermath, it feels like the dust is still settling in a whole new reality.

Kuthumi’s tired old joke – “On the way to ascension I lost everything” – will probably be funny all over again… one day. But in the meantime, I’d rather quote my dear Mark Twain: “Of all the things I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most.”

I’ve recently been going through the “Wound of Adam” material as part of a work project. (And yes, it’s my new favorite message from Adamus… again.) The story of Adam and Isis – where they came from, how they got here, what they’ve experienced and what they’re longing for – is beyond remarkable.

It’s Shaumbra Heartbeat time again. But, with everything else going on this week, the well of inspiration has run a little dry. I know the potentials are already there and everything is already written; I’ll just have to dig a little deeper this time.

I’m still working on remodeling my office. I spend an hour or two every evening, a day or so every weekend, and it’s slowly coming together. (The day of this writing, my sons and I just installed some beautiful new windows!) And, as usual, I’m amused, inspired and occasionally annoyed at how one part of life mirrors another and another and another…

Adamus has said many times, “The Master allows all energy to serve them.” When I first heard this, I figured energy would finally serve me when I managed to become a Master or at least act somewhat masterly. But lately I’ve realized that energy is already serving each and every one of us, perfectly and accurate responding to our consciousness.

After writing last month about being in “perfect harmony” with oneself, I began discovering how much of life is affected by that harmony. In a word, it’s basically everything. In fact, it became obvious that my internal harmony – or lack thereof – is perfectly and nearly instantly reflected in life as it manifests around me.
