Monthly suggestions and recommendations to help make your Crimson Circle experience smoother and easier!

Creating a safe space has always been at the heart of our journey together. And just like we are present and support each other in person, it’s equally vital to extend that safety to our online space.

In this “time of machines,” where the digital landscape is an integral part of our lives, it’s important to ensure the safety of our online journey by creating a secure haven in the vast and sometimes treacherous ocean of the internet.

This is why we are starting a series of articles about the essential steps you can take to fortify your devices and browsing habits. This will also help create the best experience with Crimson Circle’s website, store, and Online Connection Center.

To begin this series on cyber safety, here are 5 important tips:

  1. UPDATE – Always keep your devices, operating systems, and software up to date. The updates often contain essential security patches that safeguard against the latest threats.
  2. USE STRONG PASSWORDS – Create unique and strong passwords for all your accounts. A mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols can make a very significant difference.
  3. STAY AWARE – Be cautious of suspicious emails, messages, or links. When in doubt, always verify the source before click on anything.
  4. BACKUP – Back up your important files regularly (both online and offline) to avoid data loss due to unforeseen events.
  5. MULTIFACTOR AUTHENTICATION – Enable MFA wherever possible. It provides an extra layer of security, ensuring that only you can access your accounts.

NOTE: Soon, you will need to do this for your Crimson Circle account.
